![]() ![]() While it has been surpassed why what would follow on from it. The “gameplay” is enhanced greatly from what the previous game offered. While it is not a groundbreaking feature now at the time this was a really big deal. What is really cool is that this game introduced a new system where Sims “genes” would be passed down so that they could have children and grandchildren. For example, Sims can now age and they go through a few different “ages” before they die. ![]() This game features some things that make the lives of The Sims feel more real, fulfilled, and just overall better. Instead The Sims 2 like what came before it has you create the story. One of the things that I always liked about this series was how most of the time there is not an actual “story” to play through. Well even though this game as I write this is well over a decade old, it holds up very well. The Sims 2 came out when I was in college and the girl I was dating at the time (now my wife) insisted that we got the game day one! The first game was a massive success and many people myself and my wife included were excited to see how they would expand upon the formula.

![]() You'll need to disable that add-on in order to use GameFAQs.Īre you browsing GameFAQs from work, school, a library, or another shared IP? Unfortunately, if this school or place of business doesn't stop people from abusing our resources, we don't have any other way to put an end to it. When we get more abuse from a single IP address than we do legitimate traffic, we really have no choice but to block it. If you don't think you did anything wrong and don't understand why your IP was banned.Īre you using a proxy server or running a browser add-on for "privacy", "being anonymous", or "changing your region" or to view country-specific content, such as Tor or Zenmate? Unfortunately, so do spammers and hackers. IP bans will be reconsidered on a case-by-case basis if you were running a bot and did not understand the consequences, but typically not for spamming, hacking, or other abuse. If you are responsible for one of the above issues.
![]() ![]() To move a license from one machine to another (for example when decommissioning a production system) simply open the ShadowProtect UI, connect to the machine (local or remote) and deactivate the license. The backup process is disabled during the recovery so once the restore is complete you simply enable the backup job on the new hardware and the backup job will continue right where it left off with the original production system.Īlso how does it work in terms of moving licenses from one computer to another with Shadowprotect is it very restrictive? Basically what happens is the license on your (original) production system is carried with it when you restore to bare metal. ![]() If you're setting aside hardware for a bare metal recovery you do not need any additional licensing for that computer. I do have a question for you Steven if I want to have a computer put to the side and sit there for a quick restore of my backups for a fast RTO, would I need a separate license for that computer or would it be covered. Thank you for considering StorageCraft ShadowProtect for your DR solution. |
